Saturday, September 18th, 2010 The Mutt March is an annual event to raise money for Pet Refuge, a no-kill animal shelter in Mishawaka.
Registration and Free Breakfast begin at 9:00 AM
This year's contests include: Waggiest Tail and Best Dressed Many pet-friendly vendors will be on site all day giving away goodies. There will also be raffles and door prizes! Classic Image Photography will be there from 9 to noon to take photos of your dogs for a $5 donation to Pet Refuge. Pictures are printed on-site. Help us raise money for our dogs and cats by getting pledges online or in person! You can download a pledge form or create a personal fundraising page at Firstgiving.com. Raise or donate at least $25 and get a bandana for your dog. Raise or donate at least $50 and get a Mutt March t-shirt as well!
Tell Your Story! Help raise money for Pet Refuge by creating your own personalized fundraising page. Upload a picture of your pet, tell people why your animal is special, and why they should support Pet Refuge by sponsoring you. You can even add a video to your page. Then forward the link to your friends and ask them to consider supporting Pet Refuge by sponsoring you and donating on your page. All dogs must be leashed (no retractable leashes allowed), licensed and current on required vaccinations. Although we can not accomodate cats and other animals at the event, their owners are definitely welcome to attend the festivities.
